Ballydoyle Irish Pub and 95.9 the River are sponsoring The River Rock Off Battle of the Ballybands. Local bands will compete at Ballydoyle locations for judges scores and online votes. Last year, the six monthly winners plus the top three online vote getters played it out at the grand finale. Judges will choose the top local act based on criteria such as overall performance quality, stage presence, musicianship, and audience reaction. The winner will perform at the Rock on the Fox Festival in downtown Aurora.
